ProbashGami ("we", "our") operates this platform to connect Bangladeshi job seekers with verified overseas employment opportunities. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using the platform you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
Full name, NID/passport number, date of birth, contact number, email, address, education, work experience, and documents you upload (CV, photographs, BMET smart card, training certificates).
Information from applications
Jobs you apply to, application status history, interview attendance, and communications with recruitment agencies through the platform.
Information collected automatically
Browser type, device information, pages visited, and referral source — used only in aggregate to improve site performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Matching your profile with verified overseas job posts and shortlisting you for delegation interviews
- Publishing interview schedules, postponement notices, and recruitment announcements relevant to you
- Verifying your identity with BMET records and licensed recruitment agencies (RL holders)
- Sending service notifications by SMS and email (application updates, call letters, deadlines)
- Detecting fraudulent applications and protecting the platform from misuse
- Improving the platform, aggregated statistics, and user experience research
We never sell your personal information. Your profile is shared with a recruitment agency or employer only when you apply to their job post.
5. Data Security
Your documents and personal data are stored with access controls and encrypted connections (HTTPS). Only authorised staff and the agency handling your application can view your documents. We retain application records for the period required by BMET regulations, after which they are deleted.
6. Your Rights
You may at any time:
- View and correct your profile information
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and documents, subject to regulatory retention rules
- Withdraw consent for SMS/email notifications
7. Children's Privacy
The platform is intended for job seekers aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced through a notice on this page with a new "last updated" date.
